Anna Skirka Obituary

Anna Skirka, age 93 of the Village of Bloomfield, WI (Pell Lake) passed away Tuesday March 12, 2019 at her home.

The former Anna Litsch was born on August 29, 1925 in the Village of Drabiw, City of Zolotonosha, Ukraine, the daughter of the late Terentyj and Domacha Litsch.  Anna was married to Mychajlo Skirka for over 70 years.  He preceded her in death on August 6, 2016.  They moved from Chicago, IL to Pell Lake in 1985.

Anna was a member of Sts. Volodymyr and Olha Ukrainian Catholic Church in Chicago.

Anna is survived by: 2 daughter’s; Ereka Dailey of Bradenton, FL and Lucia (Zenovij) Timchak of Pell Lake, WI; a grandson, Paul James Dailey of Lakeland, FL; her extended family, Lilia (Jaymz) Webster of Evansville, WI, Terry (Madylyn) Timchak of East Troy, WI, Christina (Bobby) Garrison and their children, Haley and Aria of San Diego, CA.  Anna was a devoted Aunt to many.

The Family will receive friends from 2:00PM until the time of Funeral Services at 3:00PM on Saturday March 16, 2019 at the Haase-Lockwood & Assoc. Funeral Home in Genoa City. Interment will follow in Bloomfield Cemetery.  Memorial remembrances may be made to: Sts. Volodymyr and Olha Ukrainian Catholic Church, 2245 W. Superior St. Chicago, IL 60612 and/or St. Michael’s Ukrainian Church, 1025 S. 11th St. Milwaukee, WI 53204.
