Gladys M. Slama, 98 of Elkhorn, WI, passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2020 at Kindred Hearts in Elkhorn, WI. She was born in Hopkins, MO, the daughter to the late Frank and Anna (Jepson) Majors. Gladys was united in marriage to Vernon “Lucky” Slama on March 25, 1944 in Boston, MA. She enjoyed baking especially her chocolate chip cookies. Gladys was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother.
Gladys is survived by her three children; Cheryl (John Jr.) Polivka, Susan (James) Polivka and David Slama, six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Anna, husband, Vernon, and six siblings.
Memorial Service will be held 11:00AM on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Homes and Crematory, 730 N Wisconsin St. Elkhorn, WI.
