Jacob Richard Von Seth

Jacob Von Seth age 89 of Bloomfield died August 6, 2019.  He was born in Chicago, IL on July 2, 1930.   The son of the late Werner and Martha Von Seth.  On November 17, 1956 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Pell Lake, WI he was united in marriage to Ruth Stohr.  He worked for many years for Wisconsin Southern Gas Company.   He served in the United States Army.  

During his life he was a past member of the Bloomfield Volunteer Fire Dept.  Past President of the Bloomfield Cemetery Association.  Member of the Elkhorn VFW Post 6375.  He enjoyed building bird houses and spending time outdoors whether it was hunting, fishing or working on antique tractors.   He was an avid Brewers, Packers and Bucks fan.  His greatest joy came from spending time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren  

Jacob is survived by his wife Ruth.  Father to Ronald Von Seth, Lynn (Mark) Johnson and Gary (JoAnne) Von Seth.   Grandfather of Jacob (MJ) Von Seth, Jason Von Seth, Jennifer (Drew) Smith, Matthew (Jennifer) Johnson, Michael (Kasey) Johnson, Jessica (Beltram) Alvarez, Emily (Ryan) Klein, Natalie (Daniel) Warmuth, Timothy Von Seth and Anna Jo Von Seth.   Great Grandfather of 9.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday August 12, 2019 at 11:00AM at St. John’s Catholic Church 701 N Lake Ave.  Twin Lakes, WI.  Visitation will be held at church from 9:30AM until 11:00AM.  Burial will be held at 2:30 at Bloomfield Cemetery.   Online condolences Haaselockwoodfhs.com.  The Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home of Genoa City, WI. is assisting the family.
