Joan V. Beagley

Joan V. Beagley, age 88, of Burlington, WI (Bohners Lake) died Thursday November 28, 2019 at the Aurora Medical Center-Burlington.

The former Joan Victoria Krischak was born on December 14, 1930 in Chicago, IL the daughter of the late Jon and Victoria Hensel Krischak.  On January 12, 1954 in Evanston, IL, Joan was united in marriage to James K. Beagley.  They lived in Gurnee, IL before moving to Burlington in 1977.

Joan was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, shopping, playing cards and socializing.  She was an accomplished classical pianist.  She also enjoyed singing.

Joan is survived by:  her children, Lauren (Michael) Sovelenko of Burlington, WI and William J. (Zan) Beagley of Louisiana; 6 grandchildren, Nicole (Michael) Schroeder, Jacob Arnold, Michael (Danielle) Sovelenko, Katie (Jim) Sides, John Beagley and Anna Marie Beagley; 2 great grandchildren, LeAnn Schroeder and Michael Schroeder; 2 sisters, Karen Krischak and Elizabeth Hernandez.

She was preceded in death by her husband James on January 15, 1999, a son, Brian J. Beagley on April 1, 1992 and sister Wilma May.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00PM on Friday December 6, 2019 at St. John’s Cemetery 9900 336th Ave (Hy KD and Legion Dr.) Twin Lakes, WI.  The Haase-Lockwood & Assoc. Funeral Home and Crematory of Twin Lakes is serving the Beagley Family.
