Theresa Jankowski, age 71, of the Village of Bloomfield, Wisconsin (Pell Lake), died Friday, November 30, 2018 at her home.
Theresa Eva Machnacz was born on July 3, 1947 in Grzeda, Poland, the daughter of the late Stanislaw and Regina Iwinska Machnacz. She was the oldest of thirteen brothers and sisters. Theresa immigrated to the United States bravely by herself on October 26, 1965 at the age of 18. She lived in Chicago, Illinois before moving to Pell Lake in 1979 with her young family. She proudly became a United States Citizen on December 29, 1998.
Theresa had worked as a sales associate at Walmart in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin for the past 12 years. She was a former member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Pell Lake. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening, doing home improvements and watching old movies and cartoons, especially Scooby Doo. She was very much a pet lover.
Theresa is survived by: her son, Tadeusz “Ted” (Reta) Jankowski of Lake in the Hills, Illinois, a daughter Grazyna “Grace” (Jack) Soma-Davidson of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and 3 grandsons, Gabriel, Elijah and Jasper.
A gathering of friends and family will be held from 12:00PM to 1:00PM on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at the Haase-Lockwood & Assoc. Funeral Home and Crematory, 113 Freeman St. Genoa City, Wisconsin. There will be a service at 1:00PM. After the Service, there will be a Celebration of Life gathering at the Bloomfield Town Hall, N1100 Town Hall Road, Pell Lake until 5:00PM.
