Vivian H. Locascio, 74, of Twin Lakes, WI (formerly a long-time resident of Lombard and Round Lake Beach, IL) passed away at her home on Friday, May 24, 2019, of pancreatic cancer. She was born on May 31, 1944 in Paris, France to Eugene and Lillian (nee: Tegon) Pagano. Vivian came to live in the U.S. when she was six years old and was raised in Chicago, Illinois, where she was a graduate of Chicago Public High Schools. Vivian was a homemaker and enjoyed her time at home raising her children and serving on the Board of Education, School District 44 in Lombard, IL. After the loss of her beloved husband Jerry of 50 years, she moved to Twin Lakes, WI in October of 2016, where she would make a life for herself volunteering and giving back to the community. She volunteered at the daybreak program, through Kenosha Area Family and Aging Services, Inc. (KAFASI), as well as and most recently, helping out with the Senior Dining Program in Twin Lakes and Silver Lake, WI. She was a parishioner of St. John the Evangelist Parish in Twin Lakes and a member of the Human Concerns Committee. Her zest for life was fulfilled by helping others and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed going to her grandson’s sporting activities, walking, baking and watching her favorite television shows.
Vivian was a loving mother to Michelle (Dean) Griffin of Twin Lakes, WI, Cherie (Ray) Stanek of Dousman, WI, Anthony (Danielle) Locascio of Round Lake, a cherished grandmother to Deena, Dylan and Mason Griffin, Arianna and Savannah Locascio, and a friend to many. A visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, May 29, 2019 from 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm, with a short service commencing at 7:30 p.m., at Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home & Crematory, 620 Legion Drive, Twin Lakes, WI.
