Beverly Anne Wagner

Beverly Anne Wagner, 81 of Whitewater, WI, passed away on May 9, 2022 after a long battle with Dementia.  Bev was born to Mary Fiske on December 23, 1940 in Chicago, IL.  She graduated from Steinmetz High School with her first husband, Jerry Conroy and were married shortly after.  They lived in Arlington Heights until they moved to Fontana, WI.  Bev’s employment ranged from Goldblatt’s, Modeling, Administrative Assistant at Ryan Insurance, and Skadden Law Firm.  She then worked part-time at Ann Taylor in Lake Geneva, where she proceeded to put on, and participated in many local fashion shows. Bev moved to Whitewater to be closer to her grandchildren, eventually joining us on family vacations to Disney World every year and helping to raise her granddaughter, Sarah. Bev loved her Grandchildren dearly.  She enjoyed decorating her beautiful home, Breakfast at Millie’s and shopping at Bradley’s. She had an impeccable sense of fashion and was always so beautiful.  Bev was an avid quilter leaving the family with many treasured quilts to remind them of her. In her later years, she spent many hours quilting side by side with her daughter Debbie.  She played bridge with her friend’s almost weekly, loved to cook and care for her flowers and flowing pond.  Bev loved all kinds of music, dancing and was always bringing a new book home to read.  To her family, she was Nana, and will be so dearly missed.  Bev spent her last few years under the wonderful care of Ridgestone Gardens in Elkhorn, WI.  They soon became part of our family, for which we will forever be grateful. 

Left to cherish her memory, is her two children, Debbie (Scott) and Laura (Jim Felland) Conroy, her first husband, Jerry Conroy, two grandchildren, Sarah and Lukas, and cousin, Alice (Richard) Tamburrino.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Fiske, husband, Richard Wagner and cousin, Grayce Behrendt.
