Donald A. Adams, 64, of Wheatland passed away on Tuesday November 17, 2020 at St. Luke’s Medical Center surrounded by his loving family.
Don was born on September 6th, 1956 in Chicago, IL, the son of Robert & Elsie Adams. He graduated from West Leyden (Franklin Park, IL) in 1974. Don married Kathleen on April 22nd, 1978 in North Lake, IL and moved to Wisconsin. He was employed by United Parcel Service for 35 years, starting in packaging, and later winning awards for his safe driving. Don’s passion was hunting and fishing with his family and close friends, sport shooting, and going to Squirrel Lake in Minocqua, WI. He was a member of the NRA, Paddock Lake Sportsman’s Club, and enjoyed time shooting at Power’s Lake Sportsman’s Club.
Don is survived by his wife of 42 years, Kathy Adams; sons Derek (Lesley) and Jared (Crystal) Adams; his mother, Elsie Adams; sister Gale (Ed) Schell; mother in law, Patricia Sturm; brother in law, Thomas Sturm; grandchildren, Riley, Dax, Cooper, Reed, and Kane; and many other cousins, nieces and nephews, and special friends in the Koller Family.
Don was preceded in death by his father, Robert Adams; father in law, William Sturm; sister Mary Adams.
Services will be private. A celebration of life will be held at a later date when it is safe to gather.
