Eunice A. Collins: 86, of Elkhorn, WI, On Tuesday August 16, 2022 she was taken up to heaven at Zilber Hospice Wauwatosa, WI. She was born April 6, 1936 in Wisconsin Rapids, WI the daughter of the late William and Lucile (Yost) Smith. She was united in marriage to Robert F. Collins on October 23, 1959. Eunice worked in the Elkhorn Area School system as an assistant, where she particularly enjoyed finding out who was having the party prior to her kids knowing. For over 10 years she worked as a sales clerk with Julia’s Clothing Boutique of Delavan, WI, as a result of her employment there she always was dressed to the nines. She enjoyed playing cards, bowling, volunteering for the Walworth County Fair and at Lakeland Hospital; she was an avid reader and a great baker. After retirement Eunice and Bob spent over twenty years wintering in warm and sunny Destin FL where they made many friends and enjoyed all their activities. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother who will be tremendously missed by her husband of 62 years, Robert, her four children: Terri (Nicholas) Piper-Johnson of Huntington Beach, CA, Daniel Piper of Thailand, Rory (Megan) Collins of Appleton, WI and Steve Collins of Jacksonville, FL, Five grandchildren: Ben Johnson, Shannon Collins, Nicole Bottomley, Morgan and Aaron Collins and by Three great-grandchildren: Carter Collins, Everett and Elliott Bottomley. Two brothers: Clive Smith of Myrtle Beach, SC and Mitch Smith of Laveen, AZ and by a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers: Richard and Douglas Smith. Visitation will be held Monday August 22, 2022 from 1:00 pm until time of funeral service at 3:00 pm at the First Congregational-United Church of Christ, 76 S. Wisconsin Street Elkhorn, WI.
