James E. Patterson

James E. Patterson, age 95 of Silver Lake, WI, died Tuesday January 12, 2021. Son of James R. and Julie E. (Keenum) Patterson, James was born on January 4, 1926 in Tupelo, MS. James proudly served in the United States Navy during World War II. He was united in marriage to the late Lillie J. Hardin on December 7, 1946. James worked as an operating engineer in the construction business, and enjoyed hunting and fishing in his free time. He was active in the Silver Lake VFW and American Legion as well as the Silver Lake Sportsman’s Club.

James is survived by his children, Anita Bilecki of Silver Lake, WI, Donald Patterson of Hancock, WI, Terry (Scott) Holly of Florence, KY, Pamela (Joseph) Michajlak of Silver Lake, WI, and Tracy (Robert) Schultz of Kenosha, WI. Further survived by ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, sister Doris Dalton, and half-sisters, Eva Follin and Irene Timmons. James was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 68 years, and his sisters Sue Rodgers, Pauline Strickland, Hester Rickman.

A graveside service with military honors will be held at Salem Mound cemetery on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at 11:00AM. The Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home and Crematory of Twin Lakes, WI is assisting the family. Online condolences can be made at haaselockwoodfhs.com
