Maria Del Socorro Cortes Moctezuma, age 66, Lake Geneva, WI, passed away at home on Wednesday, November 23. 2022. She was born on June 27, 1956 to the late Fernando Cortes and Consuelo Moctezuma in Distrito Federal in Mexico. She was united in marriage to her husband, Manuel Marquez Blas on December 16, 1981 in Distrito Federal in Mexico. Maria Del Socorro Cortes Moctezuma loved traveling, swimming, and cooking. She cooked delicious meals for her family and spent her time drawing and painting. She loved to paint clothes as well and loved taking care of others. She lived her life doing the things that made her happy and spending time with her family.

Maria Del Socorro Cortes Moctezuma is survived by her husband; Manual Marquez Blas, her two children, Pablo Santiago Marquez Cortes (Lisvet Villanueva) and Manuel Emiliano Marquez (Sarai Flores), her three sisters and brother; Maria Guadalupe Cortes Moctezuma, Maria Matilde Cortes Moctezuma (Guillermo Quezadas), Perla Cortes Martinez (Francisco) and Fernando Cortes Martinez (Jasmin) and her grandchildren; Andres, Lucas, Natalia, Martina, Valentina and Elias.

Maria Del Socorro Cortes Moctezuma is proceeded in death by her parents; Fernando Cortes and Consuelo Moctezuma and her son, Andres.

A Visitation will take place on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 from 6:00PM-7:00PM at the Funeral Home, 730 N. Wisconsin St. Elkhorn, WI, 53121.
