Robert E Neuhaus

Robert E. Neuhaus age 88 of Sheboygan, WI and formerly of Genoa City, WI died January 31, 2023 at Aurora Hospital of Sheboygan, WI.  He was born in Dorchester, WI on December 19, 1934.  The son of the late Henry and Hedwig (Trester) Neuhaus.  On October 18, 1976 in Elkhorn, WI he was united in marriage to Ruth M Wessolowski.   He served 20 years in the United States Navy honorably during the Korean War and Vietnam War. 

During his life he was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Richmond, IL.  Member of American Legion Post #183 of Genoa City, WI.  He also was a member of the USS Reeves (DLG-24) Association and USS Rochester (CA-124) Association.  

Survived by his wife Ruth. Father to Michael (Barb) Neuhaus and James (Lisa) Neuhaus. Grandfather to Austin Neuhaus. Brother to Margaret Smith and Carol Windau.  Brother-in-law to James Wessolowski. Blessed with many nieces and nephews. 

Bob also had a love hate relationship with his sports. He was a devoted fan to the Packers, Cubs and any team his beloved grandson Austin played for. He would rarely miss any of Austin's basketball, baseball or football games.  

Funeral Services will be held on Friday February 3, 2023 at 1:00PM at the Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home 113 Freeman St.  Genoa City, WI. Burial with military honors will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery in Richmond, IL.   The family will receive friends from 11:00AM until the time of services at the funeral home.  Online condolences Haaselockwoodfhs.com.
